On October 15, 2018 my life changed for the better. It did not look like it at first as it started with a freak moment of violence in the home just after quitting my job of 20 years. My identity was being completely revamped with my loss of my relationship, job and working vehicle. Since then, the peace of not carrying the weight of these things has given me a new lease on life. I am beginning to work from purpose and care and laugh with authenticity. I would not recommend going the route I did as it was terrifying at the time, however since it did happen that way for me, I can now look back and be grateful that I am still here and still sober!
