A conundrum of existence on either side of the veil between planes of existence is that;
in entering this temporal plane we have to repeat the process of recognizing our true selves with every iteration of a temporal existence, just because that is part of the nature of such a "birth, growth, death" existence AND in such an existence we are also subject to an endless range of possible outcomes.
But since time is essential for change to occur then it is necessary to exist here in order to be able to achieve "progress" on our path.
Perhaps; on the other side we can always see clearly the direction of our path and places where we have stayed from it yet are helpless to progress in that knowledge because we are outside the realm of time
And so we would leave that perfect calm and clarity to seek this progress on our journey by rolling the dice on an outcome of another existence in the temporal realm.
And, if true, then i would surmise THAT to mean that to be in that place when we have perfect clarity we can see that this pursuit of enlightenment is worth the repetition and instability of another temporal existence.
